Join a new account

If your organization has more than one account with Porto, you may join multiple accounts.

Navigate to Organization settings

Tap the Settings icon (bottom right), tap Organization, and select Join a new organization.

Scan the enrollment QR code

Scan the enrollment QR code for the new account.

Wait for approval

Wait for quorum administrators to approve the join request. Once the operation is approved, you will gain access to the new account.

Switch accounts

If you belong to multiple accounts, you can navigate between them in Settings.

Navigate to Organization settings

Tap the Settings icon (bottom right) and tap Organization.

Select the account

Select the account you want to log in to from the list of organizations.

Create a vault

Administrators can create as many vaults as needed for the organization. Vaults can be created from the iOS app or the web dashboard.

Navigate to Create new vault

Scroll down in the app and tap Create new vault.

Enter vault details

Enter the vault name and description, select the account, then tap Continue.

Select members and approvers

Select approvers and vault members (minimum of 3), then tap Continue.

Set vault quorum and sub-quorums

Configure the quorum for the vault. In a vault, operations requiring quorum follow the default policy’s quorum and sub-quorum(s), unless you set custom ones for specific operation types.
  • Quorums: A group of users with permission to initiate and approve operations, such as default, governance, staking, or withdrawal.
  • Sub-quorums: Additional approval layers ensuring operations cannot proceed without a set number of approvals from designated members. Policies may have as many sub-quorums as needed.
Select the number of approvers. Optionally select required approvers and tap Continue. Set the number of required approvers from those selected, then tap Continue.

Submit for approval

Add a comment (optional). Review the operation details, then submit biometric approval. Tap Submit to complete. Quorum administrators will be notified to approve the Create vault operation.

Creating a vault on the web dashboard

Select Create new vault

On the dashboard, select Create new vault on the right side to begin.

Enter vault details

Enter the vault name and description, and select the account. Select Next.

Select vault members

Select at least 3 vault members, then select Next.

Define approval requirements

Define the number of approvals needed (minimum of 2). In this step, you can:
  • Set a base quorum or sub-quorum.
  • Adjust the approval requirements for specific operation types (withdrawal, governance, staking).

Submit for approval

Add a comment (optional), then select Finish and review. Use the iOS app to submit biometric approval. Quorum administrators will be notified to approve the Create vault operation.
