Interacting with digital assets and USD at Anchorage Digital is designed to enable simple move-money flows while providing options to meet the specific needs of your use case.
Transfers and withdrawals
Transfers move money without requiring quorum approval for each operation — ideal for recurring or high-frequency flows. To enable transfers, you must complete initial configuration: allowlist a trusted destination and link the appropriate API permissions. Transfers support both internal and external addresses.
Withdrawals always require quorum approval, giving you granular control over each individual transaction via vault-specific quorum policies.

Quorum
Quorum endorsements are required for some, but not all, move-money operations — depending on the API and whether the destination is internal or external.

Trusted destinations
Trusted destinations (allowlisted addresses) let you pre-approve an external address for use across the iOS app, web dashboard, and APIs. Some operations require them.
USD external transfers and withdrawals require a trusted destination for the USD destination. This can only be configured via the web dashboard today.
